一、UL1993適用於 (LED燈管，LED球泡燈) (CSA C22.2 No.1993-12 4.5.1.2) 的Electric shock要求簡介  

依據UL1993的定義，電壓超過30Vrms or 42.4Vpk or 42.4Vdc視為有電擊的危險，必須要有實體且可靠的防護(如外殼或Mylar)，並且要經過機構性測試(deflection test or drop test)後依然沒有變形或偏移，避免觸碰的危險。

即使使用普遍認定為安全電源如LELV或Class 2一樣需符合以上要求，只是此實體可靠的防護並不需符合防火殼材料要求(V-0)。

二、安全法規之英文標準中"Shall", "Should"和 "May"的中文差別

在英文版的電氣安全標準中，相關的設計要求或測試結果判定常會用到Shall, should or May來表達，但是否應該完全遵守，詳細如以下說明：

1. Shall, should or May主要用於表達不同程度要求：

Shall à 是指"一定要"符合才能通過；

   Should à 則是"建議"但並不一定要依照建議才能通過要求；

   May à 是符合要求的一種"選擇"

2. 以上中文通用說明節錄自IEC60601-1

3. 以上中文通用說明，在CSA標準C22.2 NO. 0.4 Cl 1.3 也可以看到類似說明

In CSA Standards,

“shall” is used to express a requirement, i.e., a provision that the user is obliged to satisfy in order to comply with the standard;

“should” is used to express a recommendation or that which is advised but not required; and

“may” is used to express an option or that which is permissible within the limits of the standard.

Notes accompanying clauses do not include requirements or alternative requirements; the purpose of a note accompanying a clause is to separate from the text explanatory or informative material. Notes to tables and figures are considered part of the table or figure and may be written as requirements. Legends to equations and figures are considered requirements.

三、  LED Tube 申請歐洲新的標準 (EN/IEC62776) 要求簡介

LED Tube 進入歐洲市場未來有新的標準制定如下，將來會由EN62776標準取代現有標準，LED Tube申請時要注意以下要求：

- 輸入電壓有250V和

- 規格不可超過60W且

- 不可修改現有的燈具架構可進行安裝使用
